Lesson 3

Personally lesson 3 has packed a punch, we were introduced to the ACRL framework, this framework aimed at higher education has really cast a light on the complexities involved in information literacy. It has taken me some time to wrap my head around all six frames but luckily this lesson was just an overview. Another interesting thing about this lesson was being introduced to a threshold concept, whilst it sounded alien for me at the time, by the time the lesson was over I had a better understanding of it, this also brought about the concept of a liminal space, a concept I soon learned that we all even in our daily or personal lives experience. As a task we were asked to describe a liminal space moment drawing on any example in our life; for me it was definitely public speaking!
